Our client, a leading beverage brand, partnered with Acosta’s Order to Cash team to reduce their high claims volume at Walmart and Sam’s Club. They needed to establish clear performance KPIs and manage their business in a more structured, routine manner. We quickly put together a dedicated team, set performance goals, and implemented consistent processes to address their needs.
Since the partnership began in 2014, we’ve expanded our involvement, integrating automation and robotics to simplify daily file uploads and testing and implementing a new Trade Promotions Management system. We created and continually updated pricing rules and controls to prevent misbilling and created robust financial roundtable routines to review performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
Our collaborative efforts have led to remarkable outcomes. We achieved a 99% reduction in claims, with 80% of orders processed through Acosta’s automated rules engine. Our customer service team handles any remaining orders manually. Pricing discrepancies are now resolved at the time of order placement, eliminating unnecessary deductions.
