HOW WE DID IT

Acosta Group’s Amazon team partnered with Touchland, a leading personal care brand, to maximize sales, unit and profitability growth during the high-velocity Black Friday and Cyber Monday (BFCM). Our team provided end-to-end Amazon services, including: 

  • Inventory forecast planning to anticipate unit demand and prevent stockouts  
  • Retail media strategy to optimize ad spend and campaign effectiveness  
  • Promotional planning to drive conversions with strategic discounts and timed offers 

Touchland’s brand awareness and rapid sales growth during peak shopping periods has historically led to inventory shortages, limiting their ability to capitalize on demand. During BFCM, 9 out of 14 hand sanitizer bundles sold out before the event ended. However, by rapidly escalating FBA shipments and leveraging our direct Amazon relationships, we reduced stockouts from 2.5 weeks to just 2-5 days.  

Our strategic efforts resulted in remarkable growth. Over the 5-day event, Touchland saw a 245% increase in sales and a 305% jump in units sold compared to the prior year. The event contributed to a 34% increase in month-over-month sales and a 538% increase in year-over-year sales, marking Touchland’s highest-ever performance on Amazon.  

Notably, these results were achieved without additional social media promotion, as they were focused on their direct-to-consumer campaigns. Despite this, Touchland gained 2,070 new customer subscriptions during the 5-day event, marking a 20% week-over-week increase. 

By combining data-driven inventory planning, proactive supply chain management and advertising expertise, we helped Touchland overcome stock challenges and scale sales during BFCM to achieve impressive year-over-year growth on Amazon.
