Sharon Hart, Chief Technology & Transformation Officer
Sharon Hart serves as Acosta Group’s Chief Technology & Transformation Officer, adding the enterprise-wide Transformation function to her Information Technology (IT) leadership responsibilities. In this expansive role, Sharon oversees the governance, execution, and value realization for strategic enterprise initiatives delivering on the needs of clients, customers, and associates.
With over 20 years as an established transformational leader in both the CPG and retail industries, Sharon is well-equipped to deliver omnichannel technology and digital solutions. Before joining Acosta in 2020, Sharon served as CIO and Senior Vice President, Information Systems for Stein Mart. She optimized the company’s strategic and operational technology investments to deliver customer-centric solutions such as endless aisle, mobile point of sale, and smart fulfillment. She also led efforts to implement a hybrid cloud strategy and created a cybersecurity roadmap.
Sharon also spent 15 years at PetSmart, ultimately serving as interim CIO and Vice President, Information Systems, spearheading the transformation of numerous technology functions. She has also previously held leadership roles with Accenture and the Department of Transportation.
Sharon earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering and Engineering Mechanics from the University of Texas and completed the Stanford Executive Program through Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business.
